In 1989, I began working for a company in Kentucky that installs and services automatic fly spray systems for the equine community. While making my rounds I began to notice the amount of inquiries I would receive about stall mats and other types of barn flooring. I recognized a need for a company that would offer quality flooring options, person-to-person service and the ability to install those products. The equine community needed a company that could take them from start to finish on a flooring project.

I researched stall and barn flooring and then launched my company, Surfacing Resources (Formerly The IN Group). The search for new and better products is a constant part of my business. New flooring products are entering the market on a regular basis and I feel that it is my job to evaluate them before I sell them to my customers.

I have worked with many veterinary teaching universities as well as with private veterinarians who have given me feedback on the products. This helps me in the evaluation of new products that are entering the marketplace and in the re-evaluation of current products. I share a common goal with these equine professionals: To provide a safe and healthy environment for your horse.
